PHANTOM PHRIDAY! Mr. Plinkett’s Phantom Menace Commentary Track

Even though it’s fucking horrible, do you still plan on seeing The Phantom Menace in 3D this weekend? Why not plug your ears with two hours of Plinkett droning to make the experience more painful? I mean less painful! Below is the Mr. Plinkett Phanton Menace commentary track! Put it on your mobile device and listen to it in the theater while you watch the film (and definitely DO NOT pay to see another film and then sneak in) or sync it up with your DVD or stupid Blu-ray. Or just listen to it on its own because that’s not weird at all. Click here or the banner below to get the commentary track:

There are some truly fantastic moments in this commentary track. Jesus cancer. Female Nemodians. Padme is expendable. Truly, magnificent. But, sadly, I must say that this was not all I had hoped, especially when juxtaposed with the original Phantom Menace review. There is still a lot that could be said about the film that goes unmentioned in both, which wouldn’t necessarily matter so much if this commentary track didn’t have so much dead air time and so much time devoted to things other than the Phantom Menace. While art is entirely subjective, it is my personal opinion that the “Attack of the Clones” commentary (if there is one) should try to stay a bit more objective and not leave the audience hanging with as much dead audio time.
